Yes โ€” during onboarding we walk you through a simple CSV import that pulls in your client list (name, email, start date). Exercise history from Excel takes about 10 minutes to set up manually per client, or you can start fresh and let Forma take it from here. Most trainers tell us the clean break was actually refreshing โ€” they used onboarding as a chance to streamline which data they actually look at.

Forma works entirely without a client-facing app for the first two plans โ€” you manage everything on your end and share weekly programs as simple PDFs or links. The client portal (Studio plan) is optional, not required. So you get the admin benefits immediately, even if your clients never log in themselves. Many trainers start Forma-only and gradually invite clients to the portal once they've seen how it works.
